I'm a Student Recruitment Assistant at the University of Bedfordshire

Since graduating I have worked for a home insurance company, banking and now I am back at the university. I started as a Graduate Get Active Officer and I’m now working within the Student Recruitment Team.

I have used my university experience and the transferable skills learned to get me a full-time job, and my first steps on the ladder, at the university.

I found the support amazing. I always had as much support as my lecturers could give me throughout my degree and help along my studies.

Life-changing

Being part of the executive elections in 2017 for Beds SU. I didn’t win, but at the time I received more votes than any other Bedford based student and I also won an award at the election voted on from other candidates within the election.
