Club Information

The Archery Team offers opportunities to members of all capabilities, whether you want to compete at a higher level or shoot for fun. The Archery team welcomes new members every year. With a strong knowledgeable committee of all bow types, we work and help beginners become better Archers. Each year we compete in the national BUCS indoor competition taking place in Jan/Feb with Varsity every April. Currently, our Compound Archer holds 1st place nationally and regionally within his category. Starting in the 2020/2021 season we will continue to compete in the BUCS indoor competition as well as compete in our very first outdoor BUCS Championship. Though-out the year we will enter several archery competitions as well as the BUCS E-League with some of our members heading to nationals next summer. The team also has very good connections within the Archery World and local clubs, in which friendly’s will be taking place and extra training possibilities may occur. Bedford Bull’s Archery is also sponsored by a hugely successful company from which every member will benefit throughout the year. If you're looking to join a fun and friendly but different sport then the Archery team is for you!

Venue

All of our sessions take place at Alexander Sports Centre. We train weekly on Wednesday afternoons. There are frequent trains from Luton and a free University bus from the Bedford train station that stops at Alexander Sports Centre, making it an easy venue to get to.

Training times

There will be free travel for all competitive sports members from the Luton Campus. Come find us a Freshers for more information.
