We are extremely proud to be the educational partner of Keech Hospice’s Short Tail Trail, featuring over 90 sculptures of hares and tortoises. The immersive art trail celebrates Luton’s community and somewhere you can find our bright and bold coloured Phoenix, sponsored by the University of Bedfordshire.

Keech Hospice are dedicated to providing free, specialist care for adults and children who are living with life-limiting illness. They provide a number of services to people ensure they get the care they need and when they need it. The role of Keech in supporting the local community around Bedfordshire and beyond is key to the social and community responsibilities at the University of Bedfordshire.

For a number of years we have been delighted to work alongside the Level Trust in hosting the SMASH Summer School programme for Primary School students, completely free of charge. This programme offers an array of fun activities to keep children busy and safe over the school summer holidays. It also families to reduce their food bill during this time as the holidays can often be expensive for parents and carers.

Level Trust are a charity that have made a positive impact across the community in Luton as they help families overcome the costs of education so that all children have the chance to learn.

We are proud to be in partnership with Luton Irish Forum in helping provide the Romani (Gypsy), Roma and Irish Traveller community around Luton with access to education.

Luton Irish Forum are a charity that aims to relieve people in need, poverty, or distress. They are designed to promote Irish identity, culture and heritage to improve the quality of life for the Irish community and others around Luton.

We are proud to be in partnership with Tokko as we support the youth facility with their drop-in sessions over the summer period. This is a brand-new partnership, and we look forward to building our relationship and creating more opportunities for young people around Luton.

Tokko is a brand-new youth facility, designed by young people, for young people. The charity based in Luton supports people aged 13-19, and people with a disability up to 24 years-old to advance in life and feel safe. They offer a vast range of support and projects to help young people thrive and ensure they are happy and healthy.

We have a strong relationship with the Philharmonia Orchestra since 2017, supporting schools and building community engagement. We are providing ongoing support of the award-winning Hear & Now project. We have also facilitated research on the impact of intergenerational arts and health wellbeing.

The Philharmonia was founded in 1945 and today, they are a world-class symphony orchestra. They are a registerd charity that perform over 150 concerts around the globe every year and are providing opportunities for the next generation to showcase their artistic talent.
