THE University saw the end of an era leading up to the Christmas break as the landmark chimney at the Bedford campus was demolished.

Jenny Pearce, Professor of Young People and Public Policy at the University of Bedfordshire, has been awarded an Order of the British Empire (OBE) in the New Year Honours List, for services to vulnerable children and young people.
