The Degree Shows serve as a way for students across all years of study to present their work and explain its significance to their peers, as well as being open to the general public to view.

This year’s display will also feature work from Foundation Year students who are on the cusp on their degrees, demonstrating the skills the have already acquired before embarking on their initial year of undergraduate study.

Dr Carlota Larrea, Head of the School of Arts & Creative Industries, said: “The School of Arts & Creative Industries is proud to celebrate student work in our Degree Shows. We look forward to welcoming everybody, alongside staff and students at the University, to experience the final-year work across the areas of media, art and design, and performing arts. This year there is also the chance to see Foundation Year work, as well as some work by artists in residence. Please come join us for two evenings full of artistic stimulation, music and good cheer.”

Last year’s Degree Shows saw a collection of creative talent on display to the public, including screenings of short films by Film Production students and innovative fashion pieces on show.
