Luton campus
Our Luton campus is located right in the heart of the town centre it is both modern and welcoming and at the heart of our Luton campus is the Campus Centre where we have a large 240 seater theatre and a range of rooms, exhibition and flexible spaces.
The campus also boasts a brand-new STEM Building, seven-storey Library and the Postgraduate Centre which has an exciting and modern atmosphere with IT and AV equipment in all rooms and a range of lecture theatres (including two Harvard-style lecture theatres), informal learning spaces, quiet study areas as well as a café and large event venue area on the ground floor.
Luton is the largest town in Bedfordshire, it is surprisingly green and you may choose to enjoy one of its seven landscaped parks. Luton is surrounded by the beautiful North Chiltern Hills and lies just 50km north of London, so the capital is only a 30 minute train journey away. It has excellent transport links to the rest of the UK and Europe, the train and bus station is within easy walking distance of the campus. London Luton Airport is less than 3km from the Luton campus.
Bedford campus
Bedford is a riverside town on a beautiful stretch of the river Ouse, under an hour from London by train. The Bedford campus has lots of green open spaces while being very close to Bedford town centre and local amenities Bedford has excellent transport links, as it sits between the M1 and the A1, it is well-placed with its main train station linking London and Brighton to the south and Leicester, Nottingham and Sheffield to the north.
Located at the entrance of the Bedford Campus is The Gateway building, It is a modern three-storey building that offers a wide range of high-quality teaching spaces including large lecture theatres, as well a range of smaller classrooms and study spaces and the main reception, all with up to date media. It uses a number of sustainable and low carbon technologies such as rainwater harvesting
And in the Campus Centre you can find both of the campus Theatres, one being suitable for an audience of 270 people, as well as the main campus Café while in the surrounding buildings you can find our four dance studios, the large sports hall, campus gym, a newly refurbished Students' Union bar and social space, great for networking events and the campus is surrounded by sports fields.
Putteridge Bury campus
Putteridge Bury is a magnificent neo-Elizabethan country mansion built in 1911 in the style of Chequers, with beautiful grounds and reflecting pool.
It is excellently situated in picturesque parkland enjoying a delightfully rural environment but just six miles from the M1, Luton town centre and London Luton airport.
The venue has been successfully running conferences for many years and has built a strong reputation as one of the top venues in the area.
It has ten well-appointed rooms of various sizes to accommodate 2-170 delegates’ theatre style. Some are enhanced by beautiful oak panelling and chandeliers.
