UKSPF: Business Support

University of Bedfordshire, Gov UK, Levelling up logos

The UKSPF is a central pillar of the UK government’s Levelling Up agenda and provides £2.6 billion of funding for local investment by March 2025.

Identifying and solving challenges faced by your business is key to its growth - whether your goals involve venturing into new markets, embarking on new product development, cost reduction, skilled employee recruitment, or gaining insights into the impact of environmental issues.

The Business Growth & Innovation Support Programmes, funded by the UK Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF), will enable you to innovate and grow - strategically moving your business forward while effectively managing the day-to-day issues. These are delivered by the University of Bedfordshire in partnership with the Central Bedfordshire and West Northamptonshire Councils and designed for organisations located in the Central Beds and West Northants areas.

The UKSPF funded Luton Sustainability Business Support Programme is a new Net Zero project that offers support for Luton's Small and Medium-Sized Enterprises (SMEs) in reducing their carbon footprint and fostering sustainable growth - whilst also supporting the Luton Council’s aim to be carbon neutral by 2040.

The UKSPF Fund aims to improve pride in place and increase life chances across the UK investing in communities and place, supporting local business, and people and skills. For more information, visit UKSPF prospectus
