The CTOP intervention offers under-represented groups an opportunity to discuss health and social work courses and careers, breaks down community stigma and misconceptions about health and social work roles and provides guidance and opportunities to pursue courses in Higher Education and careers.
CTOP is culturally competent community engagement approach for engaging with communities in Bedford, Central Bedfordshire, Luton and Milton Keynes to deliver community outreach events and school’s events focussing on generating interest in courses and careers in health and social care.
We are also seeking support from UoB staff and students for the CTOP events and if this is something that interests you please contact Nishani.jeyapalan@beds.ac.uk
