Senior lecturers in social work organised the event, Emma Murati and Kwanele Shishane put together a detailed programme of inspirational and thought-provoking talks to meet the theme of 'Buen Vivir: Shared Future for Transformative Change'.

Speakers came from our own University, local partners, local community and some of our students to illustrate evidence-informed and community-led approaches to practice that align with nature and the environment. The event was interdisciplinary, with students attending from across the faculty and external partners. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the programme and participated.
