Sustainable Transportation
Electric vans
The University is running two electric vans, one Renault Kangoo ZE and one ZE Maxi. The vans come with domestic charge cables so they can be charged from ordinary domestic three-pin sockets as well as from the three fast charging points the University has installed across its two main campuses.
Each van received a £5,000 subsidy from the Office of Low Emissions Vehicles OLEV

Cycle to Work scheme
Since the University joined the Scheme in November 2021, 57 staff have so far benefitted from the twelve months interest-free offers when purchasing a new bike.
