Learning and Teaching Support Agreement (LTSA)

An LTSA describes the reasonable adjustments the University will make to reduce or remove barriers to your learning caused by disability.

This includes arrangements that your academic department are required to make and Exam Arrangements.

LTSAs can be updated at any time during your course should your needs change.

This is the process for getting an LTSA created for you:

  • Register with Disability Support, provide relevant evidence and be allocated an Advisor

  • An advisor will draft an LTSA and send it for you to review

  • Once the reasonable adjustments are agreed, the LTSA is signed by you and your Advisor

During the process you will be asked to provide consent to share.

If you have given Full Consent to Share, the LTSA is shared with relevant staff including the Exams team.

If you have given Restricted Consent to Share, the LTSA will only be shared with the departments you have indicated.

If your needs change, you should contact your Advisor to review the support in place.
