Foundation Year Degree Bursary 2016/17

All full-time, new UK students (or those EU students that are UK domiciled) undertaking a degree with Foundation Year in 2016 will be eligible to receive a Foundation Year Bursary, worth £1000.

This is a bursary for those undertaking the Foundation Year as part of an integrated four-year degree

The bursary is a cash bursary and will be delivered via instalments throughout the academic year 2016/17.

The Foundation Year Degree Bursary is worth £1000 made up of two instalments paid over one year.

The bursary can be used for all essential materials and living costs to ensure that you have an excellent student experience.

You will not be eligible for the bursary if you subsequently interrupt your course to a later academic year.

How do I apply for the Foundation Year Degree Bursary?

Students do not need to apply for this bursary – it will be awarded automatically if students meet the eligibility criteria. Students will be notified via email.

Full eligibility criteria

Foundation Year Degree Bursary is only available to UK/EU (UK domiciled) students who are not on an NHS-funded course.

Applicants must be on, or have applied for, a full time integrated four year degree with a foundation year.

Applicants must be a new entrant student to the University of Bedfordshire for the 2016/17 academic year.

Applicants must meet the normal course entry requirements.
