Who can be a member at the Get Active Programme?

Any current student or staff member at the University of Bedfordshire are able to participate in the Get Active Programme. All members should have an active University email address.

How do I become a member?

The Gym and Get Actives class membership is FREE, you can sign up using the by following the steps in the video. Once completed, you will be sent a link to register with EZ, which is the booking facility used for sessions.

What does my membership cover?

This membership will cover gym session and Get Active classes in Luton and Bedford as well as Swimming.

How do I book a session?

You book sessions via EZ facility or the University of Bedfordshire Sport App (UOBSport). Your session will then appear in “My Sessions” as well as any Zoom links if the session is online. You will also be sent email reminders of sessions booked by EZ system. You must book on to sessions due to track and trace in light of the Covid19 regulations.

You will be registered with EZ facility upon purchasing your membership.

There are some sessions that do not need booking such as Driving Range Golf.

Can I just turn up to Swimming?

You are able to attend any public or Leisure swimming session at Trinity Swimming Pool in Bedford or any of Active Luton’s Swimming Pools at Inspire & Lea Manor.

To swim in Luton, you will need your university ID card and to purchase a go-4-less card for £3.65 on your first visit. From then, both your ID and go-4-less card will be sufficient to swim for free.

For Bedford Swimming, you will just need to take your University ID card and say you are on the Get Active Programme.
