The simulation suite includes:

• An operating theatre with scrub room
• An anaesthetic prep room
• A ward area that can be used as an intensive care unit, A&E or Maternity Unit.
• A community room where mental health interventions and other types of difficult conversations can take place.
• High fidelity mannequins such as SIM Mum, SIM Man and Sim Baby which can be manipulated to mimic the physiological symptoms of a patient.

All activities can be filmed, which students can review as part of their debrief following their simulated practice. The briefing and debriefing are key components of learning via simulation.
