In March 2017, RLAP Supervisor Dr Silvia Borelli was awarded with the Prize for Staff Contribution to the Student Experience by the University of Bedfordshire.
The prize was awarded to her in light of her significant contribution to creating such an invaluable opportunity for students as volunteering for RLAP is.
RLAP was one of six projects nation-wide shortlisted for the 2016 Times Higher Education Award for Outstanding Contribution to the Local Community.
RLAP student volunteers were awarded with The Lord Lieutenant’s Community Engagement Award for their outstanding contribution by helping vulnerable individuals in the Bedfordshire area.
