Re-register online for your course and units!

• When you are eligible to re-register, you will be invited to do so by noreply@beds.ac.uk. Re-registration will be online via eVision
• You will continue to be invited to complete registration annually, and you must complete it as outlined in our academic regulations
• Your registration access is now on your My Actions page on eVision. Here you will be alerted to the registration tasks you need to complete and the deadline for completing registration.

It is very important that you complete your re-registration before the deadline date. Students who fail to complete re-registration by the deadline, will be asked to interrupt or withdraw from their course.

• Course and unit registration is separated into two easy to complete processes. You will only be asked to complete unit registration if you need to select optional units, and you haven’t done this already as part of the unit choice process that took place last academic year.
• If you have a full core diet, you will receive an email confirming the units you are studying for this academic year.
• As part of the course registration task you can tell us how you are paying your fees.
  • Funded by Student Finance? Please ensure you have re-applied for your student loan. You can upload your student finance application document and complete course registration. If we have not heard back from your Student Finance company within 6 weeks, our finance team will be in contact with you to discuss making a payment.
  • Need to pay your fees? By selecting ‘self-funded’ you can confirm what you have paid via bank transfer. You can upload a document confirming your payment method, i.e. your sponsor letter. If you are paying monthly, you will be emailed your payment schedule once you have ticked to agree to the 'tuition fee agreement'.
• We will continue to support you via our Student Information Desk both remotely and on campus.
• When you have completed your course registration online you should get a message on screen confirming you are registered. Thereafter, you will receive an email with further information about accessing your classes and learning materials.

Re-registering student awaiting Exam Board decisions?

You may be waiting on an exam board decision before continuing. You will receive an email from the exam board advising you that you will not be able to reregister until the exam board has agreed a progression decision.

The Exam Board will review your results in line with the University Regulations. You will be aware of your results from our first period of study for current year of study.

There are several potential outcomes:

• Progress - where your results are sufficient for you to progress to the next stage of study.
• Resit assessment - where you are required to resubmit work.
  Depending on how many resits you have, you may or may not be able to continue on your higher level units.
• Retake - where you are required to retake units at the current stage.
  Depending on how many retake units you have, you may or may not be able to continue at your higher level. You may need to take time away and re-join the programme later, possibly the next academic year, depending on when your retakes are scheduled. This may affect any funding you receive from SFE.
• Fail - where you have not achieved sufficient credit to continue with your studies.
• Award - where you have achieved credit, however are not eligible to continue with your studies.

Once the exam board has taken place you will receive another email to let you know if you can continue with your studies and register for your next stage.

Remember, you will not receive any student finance payments until you have completed your re-registration.
