At the University of Bedfordshire we work with businesses, policy makers, training providers and other academics to identify key success factors and to develop strategies to achieve positive business impacts.

We have helped to inform governments on how they can best facilitate an environment conducive with business growth and success.

Dr Elly Philpott's work has provided a better understand the issues SMEs have with adopting innovation.

Professor Yanqing Duan's research has identified the barriers to SMEs' e-business success and helped to improve e-business performance and management capacity at regional and international level.
