Overall Aim
Promoting the values and principles of social entrepreneurship and developing the skills relevant to each age group are the first steps towards a sustainable approach for social economy. Therefore, the aim of this project is to raise awareness of social entrepreneurship among young people and to develop their knowledge and skills to set up their own social economy projects.
Project Deliverables
- Five Educational Portfolios for developing social entrepreneurial skills
- A needs analysis report on current gaps in teaching and developing social enterprising competences.
- An analysis and report on the best practices in European social entrepreneurship education
- A network of social economy agents to disseminate products and exchange best practices.
- A proposal for social enterprise curricula for educational institutions.
Target Groups
Primary Education
1) Enterprising Kids: 6 to 9 year olds
Secondary Education
(2) School of Young Entrepreneurs: 10 to 13 year olds
(3) Enterprising Project: 14 to 17 year olds
Higher Education
(4) Enterprising Platform: 18 to 22 year olds
(5) Young businessmen/businesswomen: 22 to 25 year olds
