Peer Assisted Student Success Scheme Bursary - Academic year 2021/2022
For the 21/22 academic year, the University of Bedfordshire will launch a new bursary scheme for students called Peer Assisted Student Success (PASS).
PASS adopts a strategic and targeted approach based on research-informed evidence and good practice towards enhancing student success through Peer Assisted Learning programmes. Its overarching aims are to:
- contribute towards addressing progression inequalities and improving progression rates for under-represented students.
- encourage engagement amongst underrepresented target groups and beneficiaries with Peer Assisted Learning.
- increase student agency through encouraging student-staff partnerships and student co-production.
- develop employability skills to enhance graduate outcomes

- Fermale Asian-Pakistani students
- Female Asian-Bangladeshi students
- Black Caribbean male students
- Other underrepresented groups
