University Christmas Opening Hours
Mon 19 December, 2022Over the Christmas period, the University will be operating on different open hours.
Campus Christmas opening hours:
Please note, the University closes at 12pm on Friday 23rd December 2022 and reopens again on Tuesday 3rd January at 9am. All of our campuses will be shut during this period.
Library Christmas opening times:
Luton Campus Library:
Friday 23rd December 2022 – Open all day & staffed by security from 12pm onwards.
Saturday 24th December 2022 to Monday 2nd January 2023 – Open 24/7, staffed by security only.
Staffed hours at the library will resume on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
Bedford Campus Library:
Friday 23rd December 2022 – Open 8.30am until midnight & staffed by security from 12pm onwards.
Saturday 24th December 2022 to Monday 2nd January 2023 – Open 8.30am until midnight & staffed by security only.
Normal opening hours and staffed hours will resume on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
Aylesbury Campus Library:
Friday 23rd December 2022 – Open 8am until 12 noon.
Saturday 24th December 2022 to Monday 2nd January 2023 – CLOSED.
Normal opening hours and staffed hours will resume on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
Milton Keynes Library:
Friday 23rd December 2022 – Open 8.30am until 12 noon.
Saturday 24th December 2022 to Monday 2nd January 2023 – CLOSED.
Normal opening hours and staffed hours will resume on Tuesday 3rd January 2023.
Support and advice during the festive period:
The Beds Students’ Union advice service will be closed between Friday 16th December and Tuesday 3rd January. If you need to speak to someone over the Christmas period, you can access support through the Community and Faith team.
Our Community and Faith team will be accessible virtually from Friday 16th December until Monday 9th January. Please note, the Treehouse Community area will be closed during the festive period.
