University’s Art & Design students to host end of year show
Mon 05 June, 2017Art & Design students from the University of Bedfordshire will mark the end of years of hard work with a Graduate Show.
The show will take place at Alexon House in Guildford Street, the home of the School of Art & Design, with a private view on Thursday 8 June from 5-9pm.
The show will also be open to the public from 9-15 June from 9am-5pm.
Acting Head of Art & Design Dr Jenny Cann said: “The work on show concludes a period of exploration, experimentation and enterprise for our graduating students. It is also a celebration of the culmination of their hard work, personal and professional development, as they leave us to make their mark on the Creative Industries of the future.”
The theme for this year’s show is Coda, which can be used to describe a concluding event, summation or section.
“Coda may be the concluding event but for all those involved it serves as the preface for ventures new,” said Dr Cann.
