Celebrate Christmas with Bedfordshire’s Carols by Candlelight events
Fri 01 December, 2017The local community is invited to the University of Bedfordshire’s Carols by Candlelight events in Luton and Bedford.
The theme of the Bedford event at St Paul’s Church (5 Dec) is ‘Stories for Children’ and will include children’s stories with a Christmas theme and traditional carols. A Christmas tree will be decorated during the event, which will be attended by the University’s Vice Chancellor Bill Rammell and the Bishop of Bedford.
Donations will be collected on the night for FACES, a local charity offering practical and emotional support to families under stress.
The Luton event will be hosted at St Mary’s Church at the Luton campus (7 Dec) and will feature a performance from the Cantores Girls’ Choir. The event will also include invocations by Vice Chancellor Bill Rammell and President of the University’s Student Union (Beds SU) President Joseph Daniels.
Donations will be collected during the evening for Cantores Girls’ Choir.
Traditional Christmas refreshments, including mince pies, mulled wine and juice will be served at both events.
