Students from schools across region attended including those located in Beds, Bucks, Herts, Nottinghamshire, Cambridgeshire and London.

Also in attendance were over 150 higher education institutions as well as organisations such as the Army and the Police, with representatives on hand to answer questions from the potential students.

A seminar programme was on throughout the day to help attendees make informed decisions about subject areas, student finance and even how to go about applying to Oxford and Cambridge Universities.

As with university, the fair was not ‘all work and no play’, with a festival set up outside featuring bands from local schools and the Toffees, as well as food stands and areas for students to sit and take in the event.
