The team saw off stiff competition to scoop the accolade for Best Customer Service at the FSB Bedfordshire Business Awards.

As well as being the home to many University postgraduate courses and graduation ceremonies, Putteridge Bury is also a dedicated events venue, hosting conferences, weddings, parties and afternoon teas in picturesque surroundings.

 The team were able to demonstrate that they could exceed customers’ expectations before, during and after using their services, investing in building long term relationships and providing a service that is consistently outstanding.

Putteridge Bury’s General Manager Darren Smith said: “We were delighted to receive this award. It was the only award decided by a public vote so we are extremely proud. It is true recognition of all the team’s hard work and dedication to making sure we give our guests the best possible experience.

“We’d also like to thank everyone who voted for us.”

The neo-Elizabethan manor house was built in 1911 in the style of Chequers, with beautiful gardens and a reflecting pool.
