Free Screen Filming in Bedford - January 11th 2017
Mon 05 December, 2016January 11th 2017 - Free screening of the three short films; “The Case for Optimism”, “A Time to Cycle”, “A Film about Organic Lea”.
- “The Case for Optimism”: When the future is uncertain, how should we respond? Al Gore’s TED TALK explores why the future is bright.
- “A Time to Cycle”: A group of climate campaigners who use cycling en masse to raise awareness of climate change by sharing knowledge and building solidarity. See www.timetocycle.org
- “A Film about Organic Lea”: A workers’ cooperative growing foods on the edge of the Lea Valley, on the outskirts of London. Some of our committee have visited and found it to be an energetic and inspiring place. See www.organiclea.org.uk
After these short movies, we’ll have a discussion surrounding the topics discussed in the movies.
