Live BBC broadcast to be held at University
Tue 19 April, 2016BBC Three Counties Radio will be broadcasting live from the University of Bedfordshire on Thursday 21 April, 3pm to 7pm, Postgraduate Centre, Luton campus.
The University which is hosting a live broadcast of the radio stations Politics Panel will also be the location that day for BBC Three Counties drivetime show hosted by Roberto Perrone
The Politics Panel or ‘Big EU Debate’ will discuss the upcoming EU Referendum on 23 June in front of a live audience.
Roberto Perrone will chair the panel, which will feature Bill Rammell, Vice Chancellor of the University and a former Minister for Higher Education in the Labour Government from 2005-2008.
The full panel are:
- Bill Rammell, Vice Chancellor, University of Bedfordshire
- Rt Hon Alistair Burt MP, MP for North East Bedfordshire
- Richard Patient, London Chairman of Business for Britain and a small business owner
- Ben Harris-Quinney, Chairman of The Bow Group
The EU Referendum will set the direction for Britain’s future relationship with Europe. The panel will discuss the pros and cons of membership of the EU and explore the consequences of Brexit for British society and for Europe.
Audience members will have the opportunity to ask their own pre-submitted questions to the panellists.
