Vice Chancellor’s Annual Lecture 2015

Bill Rammell, Vice Chancellor of the University of Bedfordshire will use his Annual Lecture to examine how young people can shape their future though engagement in political debate.

The lecture ‘What do politics and government have to offer this generation of students’ will be held at the University’s Luton campus on Wednesday 25 November, 6pm to 8pm and is free to attend.

The Vice Chancellor will draw on his experience as a leader in higher education and as a former government minister to reflect on the state of UK politics and to ask what universities can do to get young people involved in political debate.

Attendees are encouraged to submit their questions in advance and tweet about the event using the hashtag #vcal15.  You can also submit questions by email to: events@beds.ac.uk

The Q&A panel will include Ryan Gray from UpRising, a UK-wide youth leadership development organisation, and the President of the University’s Students’ Union Charlie Hughes.
