Sir Jeremy Greenstock to speak at Luton campus

A keynote speech by Sir Jeremy Greenstock, former UK Ambassador to the United Nations (UN), takes place at the University of Bedfordshire's Luton campus tomorrow (October 31).

Sir Jeremy, Chair of the United Nations Association – UK, is to discuss the role of the UN and what it and other organisations can do to combat world conflicts and suffering.

There will also be contributions from local MP and Shadow International Development Minister Gavin Shuker, and University of Bedfordshire Vice Chancellor Bill Rammell.

There will be opportunity to put questions to the speakers at the end of the event.

Friday’s event, jointly hosted by the University and the Luton branch of the United Nations Association (UNA), marks the growing relationship between the two institutions.

Refreshments will be served from 6.30pm at the Postgraduate & CPD Centre.
