The Judith Blake Theatre is a multifunctional teaching and performing space in the Department of Journalism and Communication. It can be used to stage in house theatre productions as well as Film Screenings, Workshops and Masterclasses. It comprises a 'stage' for performance in drama and music, in the traditional sense, and It can also be used as a TV Studio with 3 camera set up, full theatre/tv lighting rig and a fully functioning Gallery. It has fully retractable and expanding seating for 70 people.

The space is bookable by students for rehearsals and staging their work, either through Drama productions on the floor, or through the HD projector for 'cinema'.

The area allows students to rehearse, perform, film and showcase their work and is a very busy resource.
