Monika Pietruch
ELT Tutor
I have been teaching at the University of Bedfordshire since 2010. I am currently involved in the delivery of the Foundation Course and the Communication Skills programme. I have also taught General and Academic English at a range of levels in areas such as MBM and MBA, and IELTS.
I am passionate about technology-enhanced learning. The higher education sector is currently undergoing a digital transformation. It is a great opportunity to be part of that change and contribute to the new ways of delivering lessons with technology. Adopting such a teaching approach has been one of the most rewarding experiences, allowing me to empower the students to make new choices that have an impact on their learning journey.
My previous research focused on investigating negotiation of meaning in computer-mediated communication (CMC) and exploring the effects of using weblogs in process writing.
