I have been teaching Business and Finance, English, Economics and Politics for over 20 years. The passion is ever increasing in this challenging and globalised world. There is not one day that passes without an event that effects us all in our lives.

For this reason the constant change enables me to enlighten and energise my students and I hope develop the same passion for my subject areas.

I have strong subject knowledge in Business which is enriched through invaluable and wide experience teaching across all key stages in the secondary curriculum and at The University. My inspiration comes from a strong dedication and commitment I had in all subjects ever since I was at school and the sense of achievement, I carried with me from that young age.

I’m full of optimism and inspiration to help young pupils to realise their own potential and ignite the ‘Yes I can’ mindset so they can tap into and maximise their potential to reach their desired goals in life to be not just leaders, inventors and problem solvers but the best in their field of profession full of courtesy and courage to make a difference. I believe I have the ability to stir that in a young person’s life and transform them.

I thrive upon utilising up to date Business news to provide relevant case studies that enhance our unique syllabus and enable students to relate theory to the current global issues. I also draw upon my wide ranging real life corporate work experience to ensure the theory of business is correlated to the reality of the working environment.

I am passionate about teaching our international students and ensure when they move on, they have learnt that all of the subjects I teach are intrinsically linked to our lives and that I hope to have made a positive difference overall.
