I passionately believe that Krashen’s Affective Filter hypothesis should be one of the most vital goals when it comes to Second Language Learning (SLL thereafter).

The Affective Filter denotes that our pedagogical aims should not only include providing learners with comprehensible input, but also generating circumstances that encourage a variety of ‘affective variables’ (motivation, self-confidence and low anxiety levels) in order to succeed in SLL.

Having that in mind, I am a highly motivated, enthusiastic and dedicated educator who wants all students to be successful L2 learners and works to create a classroom atmosphere that is stimulating, encouraging and adaptive to the varied needs of L2 learners.

I have been honoured to be part of the CEFL team since February 2019. Ever since, I have been mainly involved in teaching the EU Foundation Course and the delivery of English for Study, Current Affairs and Academic English Skills units.
