Alicja Nuttell

I have been teaching English as a foreign language for more than 20 years.

My academic interests include second-language acquisition and bilingualism at an early age and the impact on early cognitive development; interpreting, searching for stimulating ways of teaching.

In my spare time I enjoy travelling, playing tennis and photography.

Qualifications

  • MA Applied Linguistics (Hons) (TEFL) - University of Bedfordshire
  • BA (Hons) TEFL – University of Gdansk (Poland)
  • HEA Fellowship

Teaching Expertise

  • Teaching English as a Foreign Language since 2002 in Poland and since 2008 at the University of Bedfordshire
  • Taught on Foundation Courses (General English, Business English and English for Academic Purposes) and worked on materials development in ESP
  • Cambridge Exam Preparation (FCE, CAE, IELTS)
