- At least 11 years of education
- European Baccalaureate: 50‐55 out of 100
- Bacalaureat Diploma - Graded marks 1 to 10 with 6 as minimum pass mark for overall diploma, but 5 pass mark in individual subjects.
- Licenciado or DESE (13 minimum)
- UK Bachelor's degree with Honours (2:2 minimum)
- Baccalaureat - Minimum of B2 in the 5 English components

Institutional Progression Agreements
- Romanian Nautical College (1 year at RNC followed by 2 years at the University of Bedfordshire)
- Bucharest Academy of Economic Studies (2 years at ASE followed by 1 year at the University of Bedfordshire)
