Aisha Marium, MSc Public Health
Aisha is working as a Team Leader Pakistan at the TB Prevalence Survey conducted by the World Health Organization in Pakistan.
In 2001 Aisha completed
her M.B.B.S from Rawalpindi Medical College, Pakistan.
Then she worked as a Medical officer in private and government hospitals for the next 6 years before taking the MSc Public Health Course at the University of Bedfordshire in 2008.
Throughout her career she has been involved with voluntary work in her country.
Whilst working as a medical officer, she
conducted medical camps in the poor territories of Punjab Province and also
took part in relief activities during the earthquake of 2004 in Pakistan.
More recently she has been helping with the relief activities for flood victims in Pakistan.
According to Aisha “I must acknowledge that the MSc in Public
Health from the University of Bedfordshire has provided me with an extremely
worthwhile platform to build up my career.
"It was my dream to work with WHO and
to make a difference to Public Health in my country and I am glad that this
dream has come true."
