Dr Sangy Manjini Anandaraj
Research Fellow
Sangy Manjini Anandaraj is a Research Fellow at the Maternal and Child Health Research Centre, University of Bedfordshire. She holds a Master of Research (MRes) and a PhD in Midwifery Research from Kings’ College London. Her PhD research focused on mixed-methods research, exploring views of women on implementation of midwife-led care in India.
Sangy specialises in Maternal Health Nursing and her career as a midwife has involved working in various clinical environments including home, community settings and maternity wards in hospitals. In academia, she progressed from a clinical instructor to a Midwifery lecturer, with ten years of experience in both academic and clinical settings in India and Oman.
