Jodi Emma Wainwright

Jodi has been a Research Fellow at the Institute for Health Research since 2023. Prior to this she worked as an Academic Manager and English Lecturer in the UK and France. Jodi is an interdisciplinary researcher focused on addressing inequalities in education and public health. Her work spans diverse areas, including digital learning for older adults, challenges faced by young carers, and improving healthcare access for underrepresented communities. With a strong foundation in linguistics and health equity, Jodi’s research seeks to bridge gaps in policy and practice, creating solutions that promote inclusion and empower marginalised groups.
