I have worked in the NHS in clinical roles as a midwife and in management roles over the past 20 years, as well as the third sector in the UK and Afghanistan.

I am a Research Midwife working in the Maternal and Child Health Research Centre on the "Enhancing Antenatal Care" study.

I am also a doctoral student at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine, researching the perinatal experiences of Afghan migrant women in Serbia.
