Postgraduate degree tuition-fee alumni discount (UK students) 2024/25
The University of Bedfordshire is proud of its alumni and is delighted to offer a tuition-fee discount for those who choose to continue or return to the University for on campus Postgraduate level studies.
We offer a 20% discount on full- and part-time Master's courses to those who were successful in completing an Honours degree with the University of Bedfordshire, DMU’s Bedford campus or the University of Luton [1].
Terms and conditions
Eligibility
- Final year UK undergraduate students, progressing directly onto a taught postgraduate course at the University of Bedfordshire in the academic year 2024/25
- Former students of the University of Bedfordshire who have successfully completed an undergraduate Honours degree at the University of Bedfordshire, DMU’s Bedford campus [2] or the University of Luton
- The alumni discount is not available for professional qualifying courses or PGCE teacher training [3], Master's in Social Work [3] and Master's in Nursing [3]
- Applicants for the discount must be in good financial standing with the University
Process
- Once you have chosen your course, you should apply via our online application portal, accessed directly from our website course pages. Most postgraduate courses do not have specific application deadlines but we advise you to apply at least 30 days before the course starts to allow us time to process your application. There are some courses that require students to apply via UCAS or the Department for Education; in these cases, it is flagged up on both the prospectus and website course descriptions
- The University will identify an applicant’s eligibility for the discount at the point of application
- Applicants must provide proof of their previous qualification from the University of Bedfordshire, DMU’s Bedford campus [3] or the University of Luton
- The Admissions team will confirm eligibility prior to registration and advise the applicant accordingly
- The discount will be applied by the Finance team at registration
