The Welcome Package is worth £350 for all new full-time UK/EU students who are on the first year of an undergraduate degree and paying the maximum allowable fee (£9,000) (NHS excluded). Students will receive a £50 print credit in year 2 and another in year 3.

The Welcome Package has now been expanded to those students transferring in from other institutions to years 2 and 3. If a student transfers into year 2 they will receive £350 Welcome Package and £50 print credit in year 3. If a student transfers into year 3 they will receive the £350 Welcome Package only.

In addition for 2015/16 the Welcome Package will be offered to those students doing a 'top up' degree outside of the University's formal partnership agreements.

For those students who are awarded an additional scholarship, please note that the welcome package is inclusive and not additional funding.

Credits will be made to Aspire cards following registration. Print credit will be loaded onto student ID cards at registration.

Enhanced welcome package

Students who progress from a partner college

The enhanced welcome package is worth £150 for new full-time UK/EU students who are on the first year of an undergraduate degree and paying the maximum allowable fee (£9,000) and progress immediately from a UK/EU Partner College.

Students that progress to study a 'top up' degree from one of the University recognised partners, will also be eligible for the Enhanced Welcome Package.

It consists of £450 Aspire credit and £50 print credit (NHS students excluded).

For those students who are awarded an additional scholarship, please note that the welcome package is inclusive.

The welcome package funds will be available upon registration in October.

Students eligible for the enhanced welcome package will receive a further Aspire credit of £150 in February, in addition to any other scholarship payments that have been scheduled.
