3.2 Research Degrees - Pre-approved extension period (PEP) fees
PEP fees are payable either:
- In full, at the rate fixed at the point of offer before the start of the PEP year; or
- As payments equating one quarter of the annual fee, every 3 months, up until the point of submission.
3.3 Bench Fees
For research proposals requiring extensive use of specialised University facilities, the University may quote a bench fee in addition to degree programme fees in a range up to £7,000 per year. This will be determined before registration.
