Dr Priyangani Ariyawansha Gunathilake (Priya Kethe)
Senior Lecturer in Management
I joined the Business School as a visiting faculty member having 20 years of industry experience in marketing and business administration and 10 years of teaching and academic management experience in the UK Higher Education Sector. Currently, I am the Course Coordinator for BA Business Administration Top-Up & Pathways, Link Coordinator for International Partnerships (UG) and Unit Coordinator for the Business Administration Top-up Dissertation unit in the School of Leadership & Management.
I am a successful senior management professional having served as Senior Marketing Manager of a leading telecommunication company in Asia, and as a Visiting Lecturer for postgraduate courses in marketing for a leading regional awarding body. I have taught various business-related subjects at the university. Mainly my expertise is in teaching and researching subjects related to Business Strategy, Marketing Strategy, Value Proposition Strategy, Global People Management, HRM, Managing People and Leadership and Management. I have also previously worked at a number of London based universities and colleges. Mainly involved in academic management, teaching, and supervising students.
Throughout my career, I have presented at international business conferences, executive training workshops and seminars, blending academic rigour with practical business experience both in the UK and abroad. I am a Track Chair for International conferences held by Global Business And Technology Association (GBATA-USA) since 2017.
