Nicola Lay-Flurrie
Business Tutor (Foundation Year)
I joined the University in September 2020 as a Business Tutor on the Foundation Year course and I am currently the unit coordinator for the Studying for HE unit. Before joining the university I worked for over 11 years in the Further Education sector as a Business and Management HE Lecturer.
Prior to entering the exciting world of teaching, I held various management positions within the industry and I enjoy connecting the real-world experience with academic theory. I love working with students and feel proud to be part of their academic accomplishments.
Outside of work I enjoy walking my three dogs and spending quality time my family.
