Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance & Employability Lead

Mr Safeer Ahmed is Senior Lecturer in Accounting and Finance, Employability Lead at School of Accounting, Finance and Law of the University of Bedfordshire.

Prior to joining University of Bedfordshire, Safeer worked at a small accountancy practice as accounts manager, AAT/ACCA lecturer and Assessor at various Further Education public and private colleges and as Lecturer in Accounting and Finance at the University of Hertfordshire.

Safeer is a Qualified Chartered Certified Accountant (ACCA) and is passionate about teaching, learning and assessment in higher education. Safeer is specialised in core areas of Accounting; UK taxation, IASs/IFRSs, Computerised Accounting and External Auditing.

Safeer holds two unpaid/community roles: Trustee at The Cultural Trust Luton and ACCA Early Career Ambassador at ACCA UK.
