Adam Nicholls
Lecturer in Commercial and Intellectual Property Law
I am a Lecturer in the Department of Law and Finance where I teach on various units, including Commercial Law and Intellectual Property Law. I am also the Mooting Lead at the University. I have been a Lecturer since 2016.
Prior to this, I gained experience of the law in a variety of roles including at law firms, in local government and pro-bono charities.
Law is a fascinating subject and I take pride in sharing my enthusiasm of this field with my students.
I try to relate the subjects I teach to current events and offer opportunities to develop relevant practical skills, such as through advocacy. Such skills are crucial not only for assessments but also for those seeking a career in practice.
