Postgraduate Discounts and Scholarships for courses at The University of Law
As part of the collaborative partnership between the University of Bedfordshire and The University of Law, every University of Bedfordshire student joining a programme at The University of Law in September 2023 or January 2024 will be eligible for an alumni discount of £250 off their course fees, as well as a guaranteed place on the course (with the exception of the Bar Practice Course).
In addition to this, we are also making available up to five scholarships from a total of £1250 to students who have graduated from any degree programme at Bedfordshire University and who will start a programme at The University of Law in September 2023 or January 2024. The purpose of these scholarships is to support University of Bedfordshire graduates who wish to progress to study for a professional legal qualification.
The scholarship will be awarded as a tuition fee discount at the start of your course with The University of Law.
To be eligible you must:
- be a graduate from any University of Bedfordshire degree programme
- hold an offer to study any postgraduate programme at The University of Law commencing September 2023 or January 2024
- be able to demonstrate how you have overcome adversity and hardship while pursuing your aspiration to a legal career, and to outline how the scholarship will provide necessary financial assistance to support you with your career development
How to Apply
- Submit a supporting statement of a maximum of 500 words outlining how you have overcome adversity while studying for your current degree, and how this scholarship will provide necessary financial assistance to support you with your career development.
- In order to be eligible for the Scholarship you must also be able to:
- submit proof of successful completion of any University of Bedfordshire degree programme
- demonstrate your intention to study on a University of Law programme by providing evidence of your application and/or offer.
