Richard Green
Senior Lecturer in Paramedic Science
As a dedicated paramedic with 20 years of experience, I am passionate about combining clinical expertise with education. Starting as an Ambulance Technician and progressing to Paramedic I have worked as a Clinical Tutor for the Ambulance Service, along with team leader roles. My journey in emergency medical services has fuelled my commitment to teaching. Gaining my BSc, PGCEE, working within the HEI environment as a Senior lecturer, and earning the Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA) formalizes this dedication. My pedagogy emphasizes experiential learning / simulation and student-centred approaches, ensuring that theoretical knowledge is seamlessly integrated with practical application. By fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills, I aim to prepare the next generation of paramedics to excel, ultimately contributing to the advancement of paramedic education and the broader healthcare field.
