Louistas Nyuyse
Lecturer in Adult Nursing
My teaching career started internationally where I taught Philosophy, Logic, Ethics, and Moral Instructions (RS). In the UK, I then taught in secondary-High for 13 years before retaining into the Healthcare sector as an Adult Nurse. After practicing for a couple of years in A&E I then returned into lecturing on HealthCare.
I took up my position as Lecturer in Adult Nursing in 2021 and enjoy adopting a creative and innovative approach to teaching at undergraduate, postgraduate and Masters level.
I passionately believe that we do not teach subjects but people; and hence professionalism, morality, and personal development are at the centre of my vocation as a lecturer.
