Why did you choose the University of Bedfordshire?

Because it was one of the top universities for my course.

What has been the most challenging task you've accomplished in your degree/course?

I discovered that I have dyslexia at the age of 20 once the University had tested me.

How did the course prepare you for employment?

Very well!

Why would you recommend this course to others?

Because it prepares you for full-time employment and the course is very educational.

Which practical aspects of the course did you enjoy the most and why?

I enjoyed the placement most because it makes the university work click with this practical element.

What did you like about the facilities?

I liked that they are new and modern.

Were the staff members supportive with your studies?

Yes, I could not have completed the course without the support.

Which University services did you use most and why?

I used the dyslexia/learning support and the library the most.

Any advice for people thinking of studying at the University of Bedfordshire?

Always ask for help from the library staff. They are a great source of knowledge. Additionally, I recommend that you attend their help work shops.

What has been your career path since finishing your degree?

I work in full time employment at Kingston Hospital - general paediatrics. I have also won 'Caring member of staff' for the whole hospital for 2013.

Who is your employer and what is your job title?

I work for the NHS as a Paediatric staff nurse.

Did the degree contribute to your career path and to landing this current job?

Yes. My degree means that I am qualified to work with children.

What has been your greatest professional success since finishing your degree?

Winning the Kingston Hospital's 'Caring member of staff' award in 2013.

Name successful things that you have done since finishing your degree?

I have paid off my debts and have coached kayaking.
