Principal Lecturer in Logistics

I am a Principal Lecturer in Logistics at the University of Bedfordshire ‘s Business School, capstone leader of MSc programmes and link coordinator of BA and MBA programmes delivered overseas.  I am also a visiting professor of Yichun University in China, and a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, UK.

Through my extensive experience in teaching, research, and other academic and professional activities, I have established extensive contacts with both manufacturers and service organisations, in particular with people specialising in logistics and supply chain businesses, which in return have informed and facilitated teaching and research at the University of Bedfordshire.

• Successful completion of a three-year independent and un-funded research project on how the economic downturn has affected companies' logistics strategies of different countries, which has led to several publications
• An active team player in a number of EC-funded research projects working with partners across Europe and from China in areas such as the applications of ICTs, supply-chain management, and the development of e-Learning courses for SMEs
• Project manager for one of the EC funded research projects - Distance Learning for Banking and Accounting
• Participation in a number of the University's research-informed teaching projects related to such courses as MSc Project Management, MBA programme, and MSC Logistics and Supply Chain Management
